Operations Manager

Allison Robinson

Allison has been the Operations Manager of the shul since 2008.  A graduate of Cornell University, she has had extensive experience in Human Resources and office management. She started her career at Price Waterhouse in New York.  Allison grew up in Oceanside, NY, with her parents and two brothers, and was a member of Temple Avodah.  She spent many years attending and working at Camp Eisner, a Jewish summer camp, and was a part of LIFTY, the Long Island Federation of Temple Youth.

Allison and her husband Rick moved to Old Bridge just before their daughter Jackie was born, and Emily was born two years later.  They were members of Congregation Beth Ohr in Old Bridge, and then made the move to Temple Beth Ahm in Aberdeen, where they are still very involved members.  Her children were very active in Kadima and USY, and Allison served on the Youth Commission.

Allison went to Israel in 2015 on a women’s Momentum trip with East Brunswick Torah Links.  Since that trip, she has volunteered with Torah Links, and takes part in a weekly Torah study group.  She was lucky enough to go back to Israel with her husband on a synagogue trip, which she helped to administer.  Allison loves to sing, is a big fan of Broadway and showtunes, likes Mah Jongg and all kinds of games, and loves spending time with her family and friends.

Allison has enjoyed getting to know the congregants over the years and considers the shul her second family.  She is very excited to be part of Congregation B’nai Israel’s next chapter!
