Manalapan and our neighboring community of Marlboro both contain significant Jewish populations.
The Jersey Shore is approximately 30 minutes away. Our community has an Eruv, there is a Mikvah at Shalom Torah Day Academy, and a new Mikvah is currently being built at the Chabad of Western Monmouth County – both are minutes away from our synagogue. There are day schools, yeshivot, and kosher restaurants within reasonable driving distances. Our Route 9 corridor provides a multitude of shopping alternatives with Kosher food being sold in all major grocery stores.
Housing within walking distance of our congregation is predominantly comprised of affordable 3-, 4-, and 5-bedroom single family homes. Prices of single-family homes range between the low $600K range to $1.2 M. There are also multi-family townhome alternatives starting from mid $400K, within walking distance of the synagogue. We have already seen signs of younger observant families moving here and seeking out just the right shul for their family.
